Default Impreza WRX Wagon - Great to be back in one

It's been a over 2 years since my last Impreza. In between owning a Honda Civic Type R EP3, which a drink driver whilst on holiday in Wales did this to...

But since then I've been on a very long wait for an excellent condition, intelligently modified, respectfully owned Impreza Newage Wagon.

Owed by a fellow members on here by the name of Steve could be happier being back in an Impreza.

it was a great car and did everything I needed it to do very well It was arguably the best all round car I've ever had, mega reliable too. I'm just glad it went to someone who is going to look after it and pamper it like I did.
Who knows....I might be back in another one soon.....

Thanks Steve, overall the car has been great never missed a beat. Not getting much use at the moment due to work but it makes it more rewarding when it is on the road.

Top mounts seem to still be knocking when turning and I see what you regarding the juddery clutch.

I loved the Civic they are great cars. I'd still have it if it wasn't smashed up by that ****...

Obviously the Impreza is more practical, honestly don't think there would be much between them in a straight line, Impreza has much more torque but that K20 never feels like it runs out of puff.

Very different but both excellent cars.

Like I mentioned mate, contact Rich at Driftworks (HSD), he'll sort you out with those roller bearing spring seats to try if it continues cos they should not be knocking and the installation etc was checked muliple times to make sure it wasn't a fitment problem.

Pity that this happened to the Honda...could you not have it repaired and keep it as a cat D? Looks like it's just the bumper and a rear quarter panel with the rear light. Exhaust looks OK and I can not comment on the rear suspension, but again this is only from the picture...

The type r punches well above its weight. Iconic hot hatch of the future in my book. Everyone should experiance an ep3 k20 vtec.

Thanks, no the chassis was completely buckled, so much so the front folding seats would not move to allow access to the rear, police estimated she hit the car at 45/50 mph.

The passenger driver side quarter suspension was severely damaged too, leaking shock, busted top mount etc.

Like it!

I have a black wagon also, see if you can find a US or Euro rear right hand lamp, makes a big difference to the rear end!
