MY93 WRX RA
Hi All,
Thought it was about time I put some pics up of my second Impreza, I picked this up a few months back and promptly sold my UK turbo, I've been busily working on sorting the RA since :-)
I know it won't be to everyone's taste but early cars seem to be gaining more interest these days, for me a pre-facelft RA is as good as an impreza gets, raw and purposeful. As I understand it the 93 RA is the lightest of all production WRX GC8's and also has the shortest ratio gearbox found on any production WRX.
Anyway, pictures :-)

Thanks for the comments guys! I should of mentioned this is my only car, so is my daily :-) keeping it stock would be the most sensible in terms of future value etc etc, but i'm into driving not collecting, and RA's were never meant to remain standard, a blank canvas with the right basics to then be modified for their intended purpose.
The other thing is that a stock car from 1993 is fairly underwelming these days, even the way tyres alone have come on in recent years means performance can easily be pushed beyond what would of been expected of the car 21 years ago.. so mine has been modified to maintain the balance, with upgrades to chassis first and foremost followed by a few engine mods.
Future plans include Hardrace rear arm kit, 304mm 6 pot K Sport big brake kit, Mishimoto radiator, Whiteline rear arb stout mounts, to fit the Hayward and Scott sports-cat I have here, plus a few other bits, as well as a shed load of preventative bodywork stuff!
Anyway here's the full spec as it stands.

Cheers guys,
Avery I love the roof vents but concious that I don't want it to look like an STi wannabe, plus its a lot of work and obviously irreversible! Externally I'm pretty happy with how it is now, apart from as Tim mentioned perhaps orange indicators/side repeaters.. I have some from my old car but not happy with the condition of them, if I go back to orange I'll try and track some new ones down from ICP or something.

Think that's the first pic I've seen of your car, looks very smart! :-) I probably will go back to orange indicators, though Ideally I want to tackle the whole front lights in one go, one side light and one headlight have chips in so I'll probably end up buying new sidelights, some mint headlights and new indicators/side repeaters.
As always though there's a list of bits to do and these aren't at the top at the moment!
