Default Gurj's PPP Blob - Pics Update

Well I thought that I would create a galley page for my blobeye, and here it is.

I bought it in Feb 2014, it’s my first Subaru, 54k and FSH (mostly Subaru and some specialist) from inspecting it, it does appear that it has had some work done to it by its past owners.

I have to admit that I do like the look of the car and hopefully I will not end up spending a small fortune on the car during my ownership.

The aim is to keep it simple, maintain what it has and make sure that it is 100% before I do anything to it, if I do anything to it.

As such the car has just visited Richard Henry Motorsport to have an inspection to check everything is ok on the car as well as to carry out an Oil Service. I also was not happy with the brakes on the car as such the brake fluid and front pads were changed at the same time, so it is now happy days!!!

I have not taken many pictures of the car as of yet, but below are the two that I have taken to date.

Thanks for the comments so far guys.

As mentioned earlier within my initial post the car has had a number of modifications, so I thought that I would list all the work that I know has been done to the car, based on information from the previous owner, RHM and the obvious things.
  • Prodrive Performance Pack
  • Prodrive Handling Pack
  • STI intercooler with STI bonnet Scoop
  • Braided Brake Lines all around
  • ProSport Gauges
  • Whiteline Anti Roll bar Kit (Front and Back)
  • Anti-lift Kit
  • HID Headlights
  • K&N Panel Filter
  • Oz Super Leggera Alloys (18 Inch)
  • Momo Gear ****
  • Tinted Windows
  • Alpine Head Unit (wired for sub woofer and boot is dyna matted)
I have probably missed a couple of things, but they are the main things.

So what's next, well after its visit to RHM the only thing left to sort out on the car is the sound system.

For some reason the drivers side speakers don't seem to be working too good, so all being well it is a simple fix and all down to a lose connection and I have a spare sub woofer and amp in the garage so might as well hook that up too.

So that's where I am to date with my Scooby.

Hey Scotty,

Year I used to be in e36coupe a while back but now don't own a BMW anymore.

Are you Scotty that used to own a white 4 door e36?

No, i'm the other Scott, Started with a Calypso Red 325i Saloon, then a Hellrot 328 Sport, then a silver 540i followed by a blue E46 328Ci.

The moved onto an Impreza WRX Wagon PPP. Although its running a fair bit more power now

So it has been a while since I last updated this thread, so here goes.

Recently the car went in for some work.
  • 4 wheel alignment
  • 2 new tyres (Michelin Pilot Sports)

Also I just changed the front speakers in the car as one was blown, so much happier with the sound.

I also made a list of future modifications:
  • Rear Exhaust - Blitz Nur Spec (let me know if your selling one )
  • Front Brakes - Uprated Std or Brembo 4 Pots (let me know if your selling one )
  • Install Sub-woofer (already have).

I don't wanna pi*s on your parade but the rear anti roll bar looks like it's getting a bit friendly with some rust. Otherwise a nice looking example

Well it is all ahead now with sorting out bits and bobs on the WRX.

Latest change is the Front 4 Pot Calipers. This is because following an attempt to fix a sticking caliper it was damaged causing a the brake fluid to leak.

Call to GodSpeed and I now have some uprated, re-furbished 4 pots, ready to fit.

Have to say I am impressed.

Default Storm Motorwerks Update

Another small update -

This time its the Gear ****, I have has this lying around my house for a while (was fitted to my BMW) and thought I would add it to my car, all being well it will feel great in the Scooby too.

So I present the

Default Picture update

Well after over 6 months of ownership I finally got around to washing my car myself, have to admit I think that it turned out pretty good.

I shall have to make sure that I continue to wash it regularly, building up the layers of polish and wax before winter hits.
