My new Scooby!!! In KSA!
Hi, I am a British Teacher in KSA and just got a WRX STi, 1996 with a 1999 Engine. Will receive it soon from the owner as I am selling my Mustang, a 1997 GT Automatic. The Subaru is was better. Will need some advice on maintenance and what spares are most needed to collect and have ready.

Only kidding mate, just wanted to get my own back after years of teachers telling me Im thick!!!!
If it has a 99 engine, then maybe keep a stock of MAF sensors, as they seem to go quite often, and even more when running a after market air filter!! Other then that just enjoy it!!!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, when writing on forums, mistakes are made alot due to rushing.
I hope by summer 2015 to get a Scooby in the UK also, better than what I have got now. Then I hope to link up with the you all in the West Midlands Club for starters and maybe the Essex one as I have cousins down there and visit sometimes. Hopefully I can link up with all the clubs. For at least the next 2 years I will still be working in Saudi Arabia and get a another automatic car for the great traffic for commuting to work to keep the Scooby for fun on weekends only. I am working now in a small southern city called Bisha but will be moving to the famous Seaport Western city known as Jeddah. Nice beaches, many big shopping malls, alot more sports and fitness centres, alot more performance cars!!! and many great restaurants. When I get there in about 3 months, I will link up with the scooby club and post pics and info and vids. The youth in the big cities in KSA love their performance cars, they love drifting and driving 120/130MPH on the highways/motorways is a norm for many!!!

I am excited about the scooby and already told my 2 friends with Mustangs and another with a caprice sports that I will kick their asses soon with my WRX. Just can't wait!!! Might make some vids doing it all and post on youtube. I was really impressed by the acceleration of the Subaru, its handling, brakes, shocks and suspension. Should be fun but I really need to learn about better street racing first such as gear changes.

oooh and it's an English Teacher, LOL LOL LOL.
By the way, any female scooby drivers here? As I want to explain to my students how the women in the UK can kick *** in street racing! I already showed a youtube vid of an older mom driving a Lancer Evolution with some 800HP plus!!! They were really impressed and giggling alot with shock.

MAF sensors? Which ones to be exact please? Also is it true that all the 4 tires in scooby must be replaced if one is abit more worn out or one needs to get replaced? As for the oil then yes, expected for any performance car. Any more hints.
