Default Fog Light Button on JDM

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting a JDM STi (blob or hawk) and I know that JDM cars don't have fog lights but that they can be retrofitted by removing one of the reverse lights and wiring it up with a red bulb. My question is: can you use a UK fog light button so that there isn't an aftermarket switch? Basically so I can keep the interior looking standard.
Also, I've seen a few cars that don't appear to have this done - how do they pass MOT and be UK road legal?

Cheers.

Cheers. There aren't any JDMs for sale that I want at the mo but the ones I've seen seem to have a blank space for it.

More fool you then, it isnt to help you, the fog light is for others to see you ,
not exactly big and clever to not have one.

Hardly more fool me....

I have over 500hp and it is a track car, If the weather is that foul I wouldnt be going anywhere in the scooby anyways. Id take my VXR.

I think they should do the same as motorbikes and have a day time only mot so I could remove my headlights etc too.
