Default alarm pin code.

hi, i own a classic scooby that has a cat 1 hornet alarm, i also have the certificate for it. the only thing i dont have is the pin code, i have rang the dealers who fitted it, but they say that because its a cat 1 alarm they would not keep any records for it, is there another way of finding it out. i an not in any trouble yet, but it may come in handy.

if its a sigma and you can prove you are the owner then the code is easy to locate..

sorry mate i cant help you with this one i have never heard of hornet alarm sounds like aftermarket, if the alarm was sigma subaru alarm then you could reset the code yourselve, but since its aftermarket best bet is to check alarm manual and if that doesnt have instructions on it to reset the code or change you will need to contact the fitter/dealer or manufacturer as last resort.

the 4 digit pin code override should be written in a manual or on a separate piece of paper.
apparently the pin is user changeable, i dont think it will tell what the pin is now, so you will need to look in user manual on changing the pin.

yeah all i have is the certificate of fitting and receipt from the shop that fitted it, no manual, will have to keep scouting the Internet i suppose. i have an address of the person that had it fitted when it was imported in 2007, may write a letter to him, maybe worth a try
