Question spraying headights??

Just wondering if anyone has sprayed the silver parts (surround around bulbs ect) in a darker colour? i have detangoed them but still not 100% happy so was going to split the seal and spray surrounds black and leave reflectors silver. has anyone done it? if so any pictures?

Done my blob eye. On my phone so can't upload a pic. Defo worth doing. I chose satin black some choose Matt or gloss.

My classic lights, genuine projectors with HID fitted, surrounds and projector surround sprayed satin black.

Soon as I get to my computer al post a pic up. Yeah it's simple once the lights are split there was a little screw holding in the silver piece. Quick rub with a red scotch brite to key the surface. I put a coat of plastic primer on before the satin black but not really needed as the chrome is a
Coating on the plastic to begin with.
