Default Rear boot remote opener?

Without using a different alarm, is there a way we can use our remotes and activate the boot unlock?

I'm talking about Impreza's by the way/

Muahahahahahaha!

Mine has a pull thingy IN the car. I have no remote and it only central locks ioff the driver's door.

Came that way: 98 UK, paid over £7000 more for it than I would have for one in Japan with ALL the goodies

Mine too, but the rear lock doesn't work.
Was thinking rather than opening the driver door and pulling the lever can I press a button on the remote and activate it?

Have you not looked into the rear lock not working? Could be the rod from the lock has come disconnected.
You could make it happen, using a linear actuator (heard that on "pimp my ride"), and a separate remote that control's 12v devices. Would be a lot of work, and probably on the wrong side of 150 quid.
