New Halo Lights Question
Hi Everyone,
Am thinking about fitting these CCFL aftermarket halos to my new classic, along with the optional coloured halo and HID Xenon bulbs...
Anyone got any experience with these?
Any fitting tips appreciated....
Also, was thinking about getting a red halo bulb in there... is it just the headlights that need to be white to pass an MOT, or are there legal reasons why I can't have the halos as red?
Thanks all...
Max

That's the way to do it.
Your idea is flawed on a few counts:
1. Red lights must NOT be shown on the front aspect of any vehicle at any time.
2. The cheap CCFL halos are not reliable.
3. The lights you'll fit them to aren't very good for actually SEEING by.
4. And perhaps most important, HID bulbs in a reflector made for halogen are now illegal, and an MoT fail.

Thanks Alcazar...
Guess that's the end of that idea then...
Your lights do look sweet Darms... just feel that doing something like that myself is a little out of my comfort zone...
Maybe I'll save up for some Morettes instead... they're pretty powerful, aren't they?

Have a look here: https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...mpler-way.html
et the crystal lights, and either come to me, or send them me and we can come to an arrangement for fitting the projectors. The rest is a piece of p*ss. PM me if interested.
But I'm away from 22/7 until 30/08, leaving my two lads in charge here
