Wing mirrors - help!!
#1
My 94 wrx has electric wing mirrors but there is no switch which makes them retract. Is it a case of buying a switch with both adjusting and retracting buttons on, swapping it over and hey presto. Or were some wrx's made without the retract facility on them.

Felix,
would guess that the mirrors don't have the retract feature in them, otherwise you'd have the control for them. One, dangerous, way to tell is to try and fold the mirrors back manually, if they fold back fairly easilly then they probably do not have the retracting motor in them.
only other thing would be to find someone with an import who has the retracting switch, and get them to pop the switch out, and connect it up to your connection at the rear of your switch and then see if they retract.
