Default Will STI clocks fit?

Guys just a quick question, my LCD on the odometer is starting to go funny in the top right of the screen. My question is do\will classic STI clocks for a 98 fit(just plug into) my 98 standard turbo wagon or are mods needed to the housing or wiring. If they won't I'll get a set of standard clocks from the scrappy but I like the REV counter in the middle. PS the clocks in my 98 are the white facelift ones. Thank for any input in advance, Steve.

Thanks for that mate someone else may find that useful in future but I really need to know about doing it with a classic facelift set of clocks.

Classic facelift:

Obviously, you can ONLY fit clocks from the 97 white faced dials cars as these are electronic, not cable driven speedo.

Those from the 97/8 classics UK cars are a straight fit.
Those from a 98 STi centre rev-counter car need an adpator loom.

Those from the 99 onwards cars are a PITA.
