Default Funky interior electrics

This is putting the french to shame.

OK for some reason today I noticed my heaters weren't working.. tried all the settings and nothing. Then thought 'what have I changed since yesterday?' .... the only thing I did was plug in the lighter. Pulled it out and bingo, heaters came on

after fiddling it seemed to have a dodgy part or earth, so I unplugged the connector.

I park up and go to fold my mirrors... no folding mirrors, and it turned the heaters off

They were folding perfectly yesterday, but the heater was off at the time. Now they wont fold for anything with the heater off or on... and if I try it cuts the heaters out.

WTF

This sort of behaviour is usually down to a dodgy earth.

Find it and all should be well. Start with the lighter.

Also check fuses, since reverse currents can cause fuses to melt too.

I'll check it out. Is there any pictures showing all the earth locations on a classic?

Nope.

Get yourself a multimeter and start hunting.
