Twitchy speedo
The speedo reading on the new V5 STi is already starting to get on my nerves, seems to read the correct speed but every so often twitches up 10mph or so, stays there and then settles back to normal.
Any ideas?

Reading through history of the car, its went 2 or 3 times in its lifetime so I'm going with the speed sensor... I've not got ramps, so is the easiest for me going to be removing TMIC and going in through the engine bay?

have you ever had the cluster out? I did, it began after that. Mine is a P reg so not electronic
Best way to fix was do undo the cable from the gearbox, so you can get the slack in order to do the end that mounts to the rear of the cluster properly, then fit cluster to dash, then put cable back in to gearbox. Also i think there is a little metal component that can wear - where said cable mounts to the gearbox
