I have found a guide on another forum its fior a FTO but the principles and method is the same.

Would be handy. The elec folding mirror switch I used in my classic, has got another switch on there for this. So it must have been an option, unless the switch I used was from a forester.

No heated mirrors on a classic, AFAIK........Legacy maybe?
