I believe so yes. Just check that they are the "wedge" type fitting and not screw in.

This old problem, I went through at least 5 different types of leds.
They all claimed to be bright white and every time they came out blue tinted.
Now if someone has cured this problem and has pictures, pretty please point me in the right direction. They need to be a good match to 4300k

The SMD technology LEDs that we do are a very good match for the most popular HID colour of 6000k.

I've also found normal LED sidelights to be too blue.

LED`s in the sidelights can cause problems with misting as the design of the light unit needs a hot bulb inside to help airflow now and again

I ended up throwing my led ones away and fitting normal sidelight bulbs, but with a coating on them to make them appear less yellow, i picked them up on fleabay for about £3

The LED's I picked from ebay (were recommended on here, can't remember who by) are rubbish.

Yes they are white, but they are so dim!

Blobeye headlights are a pain to swap the sidelight bulbs so I really don't want to have to keep swapping the bulbs trying different ones.

I had the same problem mate - bought a set off Ebay - were insanely bright, but started flashing on and off like a police car after 10 days
Bought another set after a poster on here recommended them (can't remember where from but online) and they've been fine in the car - work for over a year. Not quite white though - still a hint of blue...

Let us know how close they are to the colour of the 4300k HIDs if thats what you have. Mine are a shade too blue for my liking.

i will do.. i just got some 6000k HIDs but i will check the sides for you up against the 4300k`s
i has the white ones from halfords which were quite a good match to 4300k but they died after a couple months, started flickering. ones on me mates car did the same so id steer well clear of the 4led white sidelights from there.

They are the ones i have at the mo Bob. Their a little too blue along side the 4300's, but yes they are bright and reliable. I'm looking for some a little closer to the white of the 4300's.

Yeah, they are more matched to the 6000k HIDs, which are the most popular.

The brother-in-law fitted '501 Sidelight Extreme White bulbs' tonight and they are pure white.
He got them of ebay, Pair of 501 W5W Xenon Extreme White Side Lights on eBay (end time 24-Oct-09 20:37:40 BST)

Ive ordered a set, so give me till mid-week when they arrive and I can put up pics.
So we can all see if they match 4300k

I had some similar ones to that before (Phillips blue vision). The only problem with them is that the colour fades quite quick and they turn more yellow. Not that bright either. Cheap enough to have a try though.

I've had a few sets from eBay for various cars an never had a problem. Can't think who the seller is but I can find out if anyone is interested. Replaced the festoon interior lamps for superbright LEDs an then look fantastic. Also replace rear reg' plate lamps for superbrights an(I think) it looks great! They've been in for at least 8month and I have my lights on most of the time and still no problems! I did have to manufacture a reflector (sponsered by kitkat!) to make it effective tho.
