Default Newage Coilpack conversion on a classic

Decided to convert my classic to newage coilpacks to gain some extra reliability and help with my on boost misfire.

Picked up 4 newage coilpacks and loom fly leads from Ebay, for a highly reasonable £14.99 each and then thought about hwo to do the wiring.

The choices are solder (brittle)

Bullet connectors (bit lame imho as they look rubbish and are prone to shortcircuit)

neither instilled my confidence in me, so a quick surf over to vehicle wiring products produced these beauties.

Waterproof oem style 3 way (and a 5 way for the ignitor delete) plug in connectors

The plan is to run decent earths to the 3 way connector rather than use ring connectors to earth to the coil pack bolt.

Should make a nice neat job

Seen them before, most HID kits use similar.

You can get them off ebay or vehicle wiring products website.

DO, please, solder the wires into the pins after crimping.

Not absolutely necessary, but WILL avoid the wires pulling out of the pins should they get dragged. Those connectors are way tight when pushed together.

Gotcha, only issue I have with solder though is vibration, it can and has caused lots of fractures on wiring I have done before.
