Default RomRaider ecu logger help.

Anyone using the ecu logger on their cars? I am having problems adding Car definitions. I have downloaded the definitions but cant seem to add it to Romraiders directory.

Any help please guys.

Which OS yuo are running? Windows Vista or 7,XP?

OS should matter for adding standard or metric def`s, its done in RR itself.

or try this Right Click on the RomRaider icon prior to starting the program, click on Run as Administrator

I have done that Jura. I just cant save the defs at all.

OK try download manually definition from this link

Then place your definition in your desired folder My documents etc.(unzip there),in RomRaider logger just click on Settings->Logger Definition Location and search for your folder where are you unzip definition .xml

This is bullsh1t! Still not working, can connect to ecu but no dyno as no def's. Cheers Jura

That made things worse. Now i cant even open Romraider on my laptop. Oh well, plan b it is then. Thanks for the info Jura.

What do you mean by you can save them? You literally have to just download them then dump them in the folder

They dont go into the folder after the download. Its got worse though, i mow cant even connect to the ECU at all.

IIRC they end up in your computers 'Download' folder then you need to move them across to the folder that you have RomRaider located in, i have this working on Vista and Win7 (64) with no problems at all...



I suggest removing it all and starting again if it wont connect at all now, remove the drivers too.

Really strange there..

I've installed RR on brother laptop with W7 64bit and working very well,yes first time has been headache,but working now well
