The plate is different on the door as well to fit the switch, try Jap performance parts they will probably have some in as is a jdm only part. My my05 is the same so you could get from any widetrack jdm car

tubby tommy, appreciate you getting back to me.
i will wait for a call from them tommorow and go from there, im assuming all the wiring is the same as i have taken my original switch out and looks like a few wires are not being used which was the same case for my old p1, i just plugged in new switch and they worked fine ?

i did the full conversion from early blob where the switch was near the gearstick and i relocated the switch to the door and fitted folding mirrors.
you need to run two extra wires from the switch to each door to activate the mirrors.
you can connect the wires in the multi block in the footwell so dont need to run them into the doors.
i can tell you the colours in the multiblock to connect to if you need that info.
its a simple job if you need any help or info pm me.
it took me ages to figure it out and i had to download wiring diagrams etc.

the jap swith will plug straight in to your door, there will be spaces underneath for 4 wire to plug into, these are the ones to activate the folding part.
two to each multi block in the door.
get the switch and pm me and ill tell you how to wire up with pics if you wish
