Default Which ecu ..... HELP PLEASE

Hi scooby gods

I have an s-reg classic impreza uk model
It has the following :

Sti version 2 engine
Fmic
3" stainless exhaust ( with 2 cats )
Stainless manifold
Apexi induction kit
Manual boost controller

ECU model 8S

What's the best upgrade for this ecu on a budget??
Maybe an sti one??
It's a three plug ecu and has yellow plugs if that helps

Thanks for reading

I guess your car is M/Y98 so it is ver 4. Your ECU is not mappable. cheapest option would be to look for a secondhand Apexi Power FC or even a Simtek for M/Y97/98 ie ver 3 or 4 but UK IYSWIM.

It is a my98 :0)

I have considered the option of using the following..

Apexi SAFC super air flow converter
Apexi SITC super ignition timing converter

Anyone have any experience with these???
Are they any good? I can get both items for £120 so if they are good I'm on em lol.

Thanks for the replys guys. Much appreciated .
