Rusty Cibie reflectors
I have a pair of Oscar plus' fitted and both are now starting to show signs of rust inside the reflectors. I suspect as i made this kit from an old set, maybe didn't seal them enough at the bracket on the rear.
If I buy new lenses, does this include the reflector part ?
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks
Steve.

As above.
I'd advise masking off the bulb hole and spraying the whole of the rear of the lens unit with Waxoyl "Stoneguard" available from Halfords. Put a couple of coats on, concentrating on the glass/reflector interface.
Then, seal the LIGHTS themselves with a non-setting mastic, like Carafax, available from e-bay and caravan dealers.
I used to do similar with Oscars years ago, only I used Tetraseal spray underseal behind the reflectors, and electrician's tape round the back/rim to seal it. Never had one corrode, ever.
