Default can someone help with this please ?

hi there ,
ive just been out to "attept" to fit my new jvc double-din head unit .
only to discover this ...........

its fixed to my old wrx head unit and i cannot disconnect it anywhere this is where it goes to ......

can someone tell me what it is exactly ??

also another problem i have is the old connector !! ..





it is completely different from the ones i have with the jvc !! how do i connect it ?? DOH !

the first one is the aerial just pull it out and the connector you need a iso block ebay £3

For the White plug to the two black you can get an adapter I got mine from eBay,the other looks like the wire for the radio antenna,mine just pulled out

i tried pulling it out the back of cd player , but it was quite tight and there was no connector on the end of it ! just exposed wire !! didnt feel right to me so do i need to connect up both of those black connectors ? or just one ?

Go to ebay type in iso for impreza thats the black and white blocks connected and try using pliers to seperate the aerial it splits in the middle where you see the silver bit goin into the foam part

sounds like you pulled the aerial lead out of the stereo ,,you needed to pull it apart where the foam bit is in your pic where the thin lead joins to the thicker one

you will need to use the 2 plugs 1 is your power and 1 is for sound
if you get the iso lead off ebay that will have 2 plugs on one end
and 1 plug at other end

This is the connector for the aerial, just pull it apart.




You will need to get an ISO adaptor for this.
