Default battery alarm problems

gb270 would not start the other day. AA man came out and the battery was dead. got it started off a battery pack and gave it a run for 30 mins, topped the battery up and all seemed well . 2 days later wife gets in the car and nothing, aa man comes out again and after resetting the alarm the car starts. AA man advised it maybe the key fob battery. changed that and 2 days later it is the same. it is intermittent where it is not every single time the car wont start due to flat battery. i am begining to think it maybe an alarm problem. Or from what i have read on other posts it maybe the battery is more or less funked and is not really getting enough charge in it due to my wife only doing short journeys.

may have answered my own question but if anyone can add to it i would be grateful

OEM battery is only designed to last three years, as most Jap cars fail their super strict "MOT", and then get exported.

Drive with the heater fan on slow or the sidelights on, it will then charge the battery when you drive it.
