i have a 99MY UK Classic and have a set of plasma dials to fit, however how do you find out where to get the feed from so they light up when you turn your lights on?? there are no instructions with the box
they are made by Visual Performance, just a bit confused . com
any help appreciated, many thanks, Mark

Do you own a circuit tester?
Mine is a brass body with a sharp point on one end and a long lead on the other, terminating in a crocodile clip.
The lead clips to earth, the point is used to probe wires, (THROUGH the insulation if necessary), when a bulb lights up in the brass body if you find a live wire.
You could buy one, (around £3 from carshops), and use it to find which wire, behind the clocks, is ONLY live when the sidelights/headlights are on.

In mine the purple wire is definitely only live with the lights as that is what I am using for my dimmer control on my new gauges.
Like you said a multimeter would be useful in this case.

Second and third reply gives you all the help you need.
If you dont know which wire to use then as said buy a multimeter and "probe" which wire gives a signal when you turns your lights on.
And also said above, you can just take power from the ciggy lighter. Your dash lights will be permanently lit though as the ciggy power is a constant live feed.
