the dash lights on my impreza classic will come on for a while then the fuse will pop, replace the fuse and fine for a bit then pop?

any common issues?

I think that fuse protects other stuff besides the dash lights. Best thing would be to find out what, then investigate each item.

There's not a lot can go wrong with the dash lighting, unless you have been messing about behind the instruments? Or linked something else into the wiring, eg: gauge lighting?

na the previous owner has changed the lights to blue, mayb i will change the cluster for another set and see if that helps?

Has he used LEDs? Maybe a fault with one, try going back to W5W bulbs in holders?

Hmmmmmmmm.

Can you replace them with bulbs, see if it still does it?

Getting instruments out is about a ten minute job, bulbs are around £0.60 each, there are 6 iirc, W5W capless.

i have another set of clocks so i might change them over to see if that cures the problem
