Lamco gauge problem
Recently got hold of some Lamco gauges for my JDM V3 STi impreza. Boost gauge no problem, voltmeter again no problem but the third one is an intake air temperature gauge. It reads from -20C to +50C.
When its connected and I touch the two wires that come out of it together the gauge needle jumps to the max, as it should so the gauge works fine. The problem I have is I don't have a sensor for it.
I've searched high and low for any info on it. I even called the local Dealer but he needed a chassis number so he could look it up as they were an optional extra and if I knew of a car that had them fitted from new he could cross reference it and tell me what sensor it is?
Has anyone here either got a car that had one fitted from new or has anyone retro fitted one and if so what did you use as a sensor?
