Default 2005 Subaru Legacy Problem

Hi, Anyone had total failure of the central display unit? (clock/temp/fuel consumption readout?) Just bought the car and love it BUT believe there is a common fault with this unit? Anyone know any fixes?

Never had a failure with mine...hesistation on throttle is the main issue with them..

Just bought 2003 Legacy with the same problem. Did you find a fix?

The assy comes out of the dash & needs sent to a specialist for repair. approx cost £110 ish

No didn't find repair mate, don't know if garage i sold to cured it. Disconnecting battery worked for a while
