Default n/s headlight is dim

hi, wondered if anyone can tell me where the earths connections are for the headlights?
i am guessing its dim because of a poor grounding, on having a look the wires run into the side wing so have no idea where to look.
have done numurous searches to no avail now its doing my head in!
thanks
sean.

As I think I told you, Scoob headlights are grounded through the dipswitch. I'm afraid there is no option but to trace the wiring.

ok doing further research it seems like a common problem with alot of people saying the same thing, but there is no simple solution except "check the earth"
aint no help really unless you know where to look.

Sorry, I know how you feel.

However, there have been a few posts on here recently offering free online manuals. Do a search, then see if any have any wiring diagrams.

ok just on offchance (i know its late!! 11p.m)
had another look around on the net and found this;-
http://www.rs25.com/forums/f13/t7067...headlight.html

went out and had a look in fusebox under the bonnet, and there no fuse in 2nd slot for headlight!! put in spare 20v fuse hey presto its working lol, whoever had it before maybe had taken it out? i`m glad its sorted
as said in the link and on other site, if fuse is missing/blown the headlight will still work (but dim)

How odd is THAT?

Well, I certainly didn't know. I knew they were wired left side/right side, not the usual main/dip, but not that.
You learn something every day.
