location of blower resistor
hey guys can anyone tell me where the resistor for my heater blower is ,i need to change it but cant find it pics would be very helpful if poss

hi mate im not sure on the scobby but as a rule on most cars it on the blower in the air flow
as by the way a resistor works it turns current flow into heat so most of the time they are located in the airflow of the blower as it will keep it cool
i might be wrong though i've never looked on the scobby

Depends on what model we are talking about...........
Some have, some don't (built into motor) and some use a power amp to control the speed.

If its fitted, it will be on the blower/cooler casing behind the passenger glove box.

ive now checked and im not getting any power to the cluster that plugs into the blower
ive checked all fuses and they are ok including the 2 labeled "heater"so am presuming its the relay but cant find it anywhere can anyone help
its a 98 sport btw without a resistor

Relay will be one of 4 on the outboard side of the fuse box behind the lower dash panel drivers side.
