Is there a way of switching the headlamps of a UK blobeye to point the right way for Europe or is the use of beam benders the only way?

If beam benders are the only method, where on the headlamp do they need to be placed?

Beam benders, I'm afraid.
And the only way to see WHERE is to stand the car about 8 feet from a wall with the lights on, dipped. Look at the beam pattern, it should look like this:

\_____ \_____.

You want the two left hand upward flicks gone, so either place the beam bender in various positions to do that, only securing each one when you have the best beam pattern, or use electrician's tape to do the same.
