hi all I am still having issues with my scoob, it wont start unless with jump leads, I have changed the battery and alternator so I'm thinking check all earths bcos I thinking i'm getting a good earth off the jump vehicle rather than my own, my question is does the car have an alternator relay or regulator and if so where would they be exactly, I also still have no combi lights no indicators and no gauges (hazards work but I think they are on a seperate part of the loom) I have checked all fuses both under bonnet and footwell.

Hi, i see other posts you have removed the dash, when refitting it did you re-connect all the plugs on the right hand side adove your knee, there is 3 long plugs and 1 square 1, there the looms for the clocks and such like, if you need a pic i can sort 1,

alternater has reg built into it, check earth strap from battery also there is one at the back of the engine under the intercooler, as far as i know there is not a seperate relay for the alternater.
