wiley

did you ever find the cause of this and fix it?

i've just fitted on of Bob's 4300k kits on my bugeye morettes and i've got exactly the same problem

if i'm driving at night at flash someone quickly, the HIDs go out for a second or two, and i'm left driving in complete darkness

This is probably the explanation, but it is not good. My OE lights don't do this, so I would put it down to cheap aftermarket stuff use poor quality components.

When my feet touch the ground I'll have a look at Wiley's and see if there's anything untoward with the wiring - earths etc, if all's okay I can only assume it is build quality.

More likely to be a wiring issue, I did all three on mine and they are fine...

Not sure if Duncan's are Morettes, tbh, but he has HID in both dip and main, as well as in his driving lights. They work OK, I've driven it in the dark.

When you put the lot on at once, the car slows down from the recoil

That one, three bloody attempts to reply and all vanished, so I went to 22B for a nosey...

At least that works, and fast too !

dunx

P.S. Do they use a H4 set-up ?
Are they powered via a relay ?
How many loads are there two or three ?
