'Hot-Spots' in roof..???
I'm posting this in here because I'm assuming it's something electrical, but TBH, I'm puzzled.
Yesterday, a thin layer of snow had frozen onto the roof, and I noticed uniform rows of melted 'spots' across the roof (see pic)
Obviously something is warming thses spots, anyone know what, exactly..??
The larger melt area in the middle of the double-line of spots matches with the interior light - but the other spots......................

looks like thats where the spot welds join the roof panel to the cross members, i think the crossmembers themselves have some sort of bonding sealant between them and the roofpanel so just the welds are metal contact between the two, don't know why they would be melting ice like that though, prob transferring the heat from inside the car to the roof panel via the welds, odd though.
