Default Classic LED sidelights... not blue!

I've found the answer to non-blue LED sidelights on Classics.

The problem is the lens makes an otherwise white LED appear blue. So after many attempts with pure white/cool white/xenon white I've given warm white a go and problem solved, not a hint of blue.

Its a 5 SMD tower type - much brighter than the original bulb. An ebay special, but cost £5 for the pair so lets hope they last! I'm a convert to these SMD LEDs after replacing a maglite bulb with one.

Blue coated filament bulb

Warm white 5 SMD LED

Apologies for the poor photos but it was chucking it down last night.

The only problem now is my headlights look quite yellow/dull against the white sidelights. They're 60% brighter jobs, but 3 years or so old. Do the uprated ones degrade?

SMD is the way to go

Ours have 9 SMD LEDs each and look very good. Very reliable too.
