Push Button Start
I can't see it being hard as lomg as you can find somehwere to mount the start button. Are you thinking of souricing a proper start button like that from a Honda S2000?
If you can mount it I reckon you just need to alter the wiring from the ignition switch for the last positon - the starter motor engage and re-route to the button. Shouldn;t be to hard to do.
Means you turn your ignotion key to running and press the button and off you go. The key would still turn to the last position of course but wouldn't do anything.

I'm like you, not to good with wiring! I bought the Zerosports kit, plug and play and it comes with its own OE style button. Had it in now for a couple of years, works well and looks OE

On the opposite side of the ignition is that "hub" of soldered wires. Tap into the wires at the 5 o'clock (black/yellow) and 7 o'clock (black). Put momentary button in between. The button will fire the engine when the key is at 'ON' position. Cranking the key will also work.
