Battery straps /horn moving
Has anyone replaced these?
The whole rod not just the nut and washer as i managed to pull it off when tightening up the battery clamp it's ok but is there any other way of securing it.
And has anyone changed where the horn sits as mine is held on by this
And i just want to tidy up this part of the engine bay to start with

It's been a while since I changed the battery but I seem to remember that was a bit of a fiddle to fit. Bottom goes into hole (did you pull the rod through the hole ie break it). I honestly don't think there is much better way of fixing unless you go for an entirely different set-up.

Mine broke ages ago, through rust.
I've never replaced them, but have noticed that most Japanese cars use the same thing, Honda's and Nissans etc, so you could get the from a scrappers.
Alternataively, it is just a piece of threaded bar, which you could pick up from B&Q, and make a hook on one end.
