HIDs are a fantastic upgrade if you can afford it. They last so long that they can work out cheaper than uprated bulbs.

Otherwise I think people rate Osram Nightbreakers or Halfords type.

I just fitted Philips x-treme power xenon's,quite impressed with them.

Eh? Don't think i've spent £90 on bulbs in 13 years of driving. Given the choice however, if i venture back into Impreza land, i'll be giving you a call

....in answer to the origional question, the best bulbs i've come across are the "not for road use" Halfords own bulbs - seriously. I've tried Philips, Piaa and a few other "named" bulbs but the Hallys worked out the best for me
