Default Bugeye - GL headlights in a WRX?

Anyone know if these are the same? I believe the WRX and STi bugeyes have different connectors, but not sure about the difference (if any) between GL and WRX.

As far as im aware there is no difference between the GL & the WRX!

But there is a big difference between them & the STI!

I think the wiring is different - I have seen references on here to someone in the US who makes an adapter, which is the easiest way to fit the STi lights.

I've done this mate.

George - WagonsHo on here, makes a harness that makes fitting the light units themselves a plug and play affair - they're about £40-50 delivered from Canada.

Make sure you get the harness where the dipped lights stay on when you hit full beam as that's how the UK ones are supposed to work.

Then it's just a case of swapping the units over. Do note if you go for the cheaper harness you will lose the use of your levelling switch inside the car, although George will supply a more expensive harness and switch to allow you to achieve this.

I've done a guide on here on how to fit an HID kit to the STI lights - and maybe how to fit the headlights too (can't remember....!)
