Horn not working and MOT tomorrow!
Hey guys,
My bloody luck got all the little bits fixed in time for the mot tomorrow and not the horn has packed up!!! Do i need a horn for an MOT?
I've been tracing the wires and there is voltage at the switch and at the relay but the relay doesn't switch over when i press the button. If i take the cover off and make contact the horn sounds so i know that its working. To me this sounds like the relay is broken, is this right? (sorry don't know too much about electrics!)
The MOT is at 10am tomorrow, do you think Subaru main dealers will have one in stock, if not where else can i get one?
Thanks
Wayne

just shout BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP when he presses it
seriously though , certainly sounds like the relay is naffed.
try and get 1 before or they'll probably charge you 20 quid for it.

U get this sorted buddy? Its a bit late now mind. It sounds to me like its the relay. Did u check the resistance of the coil? Prob open circuit. Also if you haven't already found out....You do need a horn for MOT lol
