alternator-new battery?

alternator-new battery?

alternator has conked out getting new one on tue do i need to get new battery low charge at present but is that due to alternator not charging it?

So long as the car is OOU while the alternator is cronked, your battery should be OK.

Over-use of the car without an alternator will lead to the battery needing replaced too

as alcazar says so long as you dont use it with the knackered alternator should be ok.

get a trickle charger on it before fitting alternator so battery life is good when ready to fire it up again.
