Does a '93 JDM WRX have a fuel light and how big is the tank.

My mate filled his car up last Sunday, the gauge showed Empty and he only got 44ltrs in. The book says it should hold 60ltrs bone dry, that would mean when the gauge show empty, there still 16ltrs in the tank.

Can anybody help/advise?

no it doesnt have a fuel light.They were introduced on the facelift dash models 98> iirc the tanks on an early scoob is 50 ltr

blood irritating that it doesn't have a fuel light.
although the fuel tank is meant to be 50ltr the last time i filled up my 93wrx from nearly bone dry was about 38ltr iirc

It is intersting to read as my mate (with said car) asked a similar question and got that it should have a 60ltr tank and the non turbos had 50ltr tanks?

Only way to tell is to run it out

does this meen my 94 wrx does not have a red light, how do i tell its running out of petrol, i have just bought the car so thought it was faulty. could someone show me some light on this.cheers

It hasn't got a low warning light.

You'll know it's running out of petrol when the needle is horizontal.

ah right, the needle stays horizontal for some time on mine tho, i will just work it out
