Default Will battery hold charge

Hiya folks, i'm a newbie on here, so bear with me.
I've just bought a 03 STI with the factory alarm/immobaliser and a tracker on it, My question is that as i work on an Oil Rig, i'm away for 2 weeks at a time so will the standard battery on my Sti last for the full 2 weeks i'm away.
It will be garaged but the garage has no electric point, but before i go away i will fully charge it, What do you think ?.
Your replys will be greatly appreciated.

When you do drive it, make sure you are using some electrics such as sidelights and/or fan on '1'. The problems with Scoob batteries stem from the alternator only charging the battery when there is a current draw, so if you tend not to use lights/fan/AC etc then over time your battery degrades. There was also an issue with the TrackStar unit which can be sorted, contact RAC TrackStar for further details.

My STi is dead after a few days and it has a new Bosch Silver Batt, that is alot more powerful than the standard batt..

Think its the tracker that kills mine.. along with the ECU monitor and other bits and bobs..

Save the hassle and buy a booster pack, mine lives in the boot and will start the car quite a few times off one charge !

Or get a battery conditioner and leave it connected when you are away.

I've got a 53 Sti and have just come back from 2 weeks away...... and yup.. the battery is dead ! also in my wisdom i squeezed it into the garage forwards... so cant push it out and cant get jump leads long enough to reach (clever eh!..) .. so had to purchase a booster which now lives in my boot for emergencies ! .. this also happened to my previous scooby a 51 bugeye fortunately the battery died on the ramps as i was getting my MOT done !

Scoobys eat batteries & drink petrol (the greedy b&stards)

I was thinking I had a battery problem earlier in the week, it was taking 2 attempts to start but after a trickle charge last night it fired up first turn this morning.
Guess its something to watch out for in future and the alternator not charging unless under load is something I wasnt aware of so will bear that in mind too
Cheers
