Question

my front offside light went out, so bought replacement bulb from halfords, on seeing that they were both different brightness i decided to buy 2 new lazor ones as a pair, fair enough, but has anyone noticed the little nipples on the end of the bulbs ?
mine are different and might explain why one light dazzles everyone.

are they ment to point in same direction ? nothing said on box

I have those bulbs and they seem to annoy a lot of people, had it checked at MoT and mine are all aligned OK...

Simon.

Check that you haven't dislodged the ball and socket fitting
which controls the height adjustment for the lights via a small
electric motor. The light height is controlled by the switch
beside the handbrake. If the ball and socket fitting has become detached the light will vibrate and appear high to other road
users.Hope this helps.Mouser.

Presumably you are talking about H4 bulbs, which due to the locating tags on the bulb flange can only be fitted one way (the correct way).

HOWEVER, it is very easy to not seat the bulb flush in the back of the reflector, the spring clips will hold it on the skew, and this will throw the beam pattern out and possibly dazzle other motorists.
