Default Disabling Passenger Airbag

Can this be easily done on a JDM MY06 Sti (Spec C)?

And if so can it be easily done so it is reversible?

My little boy really wants to go out in the front of 'daddy's racing car'!!

TIA

best thing to do is probably unplug it and put a resistor across the loom plug so it dont put a fault light on.
cannot remember what size resistor but 10ohm rings a bell for some reason
i am sure some bright spark will enlighten us if i am incorrect

You should be able to go to your dealership and get an airbag disable switch installed.

If you choose to do the resistor mod, you put three 10 ohm resistors in parallel with each other (or a 3.3ohm resistor if you can find one), and connect each of the airbag wires to that. This is all a risky mod, and could end up with your airbags not deploying if the unthinkable happens. I would suggest taking it to the dealership and having them install one of the fore mentioned switches.
