Default ungrading the ecu???

so if i get a new ecu that is already chipped ,or an ecu off a wrx ,is it just a case of unplugging then refitting?
do you have to resett owt else?

If you replace a standard ECU with a chipped ECU then you will use the chipped fuel map and change etc.. However make sure that the chip/upgrade is suitible for your car. Else you may cause damage or even reduce the performance of your car!

Aren't the blippers in the keys linked to the ECU?

When I had PPP (which included an exchange ECU) they had to have both keys when I picked it up to reprogramme the ECU to talk to my keys.

That was MY02.
