Multi led type sidelights ???
Anyone know anything about these blue / white multi led 501 type sidelight bulbs often sold on ebay etc ??
seee link :
T15 W5W 501/168 Blue 9 LED Front Park/Dashboard Lamp - eBay Lights Lighting Accessories, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 16-Oct-07 19:20:26 BST)
thinking off changing to these on the wifes car, from what I understand led type bulbs give all there light output from the very end off the bulb as oposed to 360 on a standard type bulb just wonder if the light would be stronger using these multi led type ones ??

I use them and have tried a few sets searching for white ones before giving up.
They all say they are white, but always appear a blue or light purple colour.
My mate paid a ridiculous amount IMO, 30 something quid, for some PIAA ones that appears white. After a while of having them on, they all look blue to me. I don't know if thats a heat thing of something like that.
Anyway, they will appear brighter that normal bulbs, from a distance, you can see the light output is to the front only.
Hope that helps a bit.
