Rad fan wires?

Radiator fan wiring?
Can anybody tell me why the newage rad fans have 4 wires to each rad & classics have 3, ive got a wiring diagram for newage & it shows 2 earths but im strugling to get hold of a diagram for the classics which im assuming just has 1 earth.

o.k cheers. Might just connect the extra wire to earth with a fuse & see what happens. My newage wiring diagram has different wire colours to whats on the fans
