Spoiler brake light??

Default Spoiler brake light??

i took my low level spoiler off, and fitted a mid level one myself after it had been painted,

struggled gettin the wire for the brake light!! so i gave up! and left it,

now i been told that its a MOT failure,

Any advice for doin this????

Rule of thumb for MOT's. If you have something and its not operational/faulty, its a fail. If you don't have it, its ok.
Obviously this only applies to certain stuff (not steering wheels brakes etc). But AFAIK, the third brake light is not a requirement. So, if you removed it for the MOT, it should pass.

or maybe cover with a bit of black pvc tape

yeh i was gonna just ask em before they did it,

i cant get the wire through the hole in the spoiler

Use a piece of stiff wire, eg: the stuff they use for house wiring, and pull the wire through with it.

Alternatively, an old wire coat hanger might help.
