Hi,

I have recently bought a 1999 Classic shape Subaru (Turbo 2000)
The colour is green and currently it is in the body shop getting a full re-spray. I need anew front end due to an accident and I am thinking if putting black headlight, side lights and repeaters.
The car will also be tinted.

What do you think, will it look ok or should i stick to the crystal clear look?

Just chipping in my 2p worth. I presume you're having it re-sprayed in the original green again as you didn't mention a colour change.

if thats the case I would have thought the black lights might look a bit dark. The original green on the Turbo 200 was quite dark anyway.

Something else to consider is the alloy colour. If the alloys were dark anthracite/black, the black lights might work, but with regular alloys the lights might look a bit odd.

Just something to think about.

if you post a pic in the gallery and ask nicely some of the artists on here will probably photoshop you some options.

i have a green turbo wagon and have part tinted the rear lights. left the red as it is and tinted the orange and white bits. also tinted the front indicators, still to do side repeaters as yet. i like it.
