Default Handbrake detection

Have just installed a kenwood ddx6029 to my scoob but the DVD video won't play (the audio will). I presume this is because I haven't wired the handbrake detection switch - how would I do this properly or how can I fool it into thinking that the handbrake is already on??

Yeah, as mentioned, its just an earth. They say use the handbrake, as not many people drive with it on, so you can't watch stuff whilst driving.

Job done - cheers fellas. Needless to say I won't be watching anything other than the road whilst driving!
