Question Question Re: Number plate bulb

Basic enquiry

Just noticed that one of the rear number plate bulbs has gone (MY 97 Classic), can I pick one up from a normal car spares shop or is it a trip to Subaru?

Thanks in advance

Its a common capless bulb (glass with 2 wire loops folded over the end) easily got from most accessory shops. Take the old one in and they'll getthe correct rating for you (12volt 5watts I think)

not sure the numbers are the same, but the bulb should be 194/168 type.
I put in LEDs on mine so i dont have to worry about them going out anymore.

Probably illegal in the UK, everything else seems to be.

Mind, there's so few traffic cops about that you'd proably be a pensioner before you got caught

Don't you believe it. easy money, like stopping people for illegal number plates

Pity they don't pay as much attention to drivers with one or more lights not working
